Inspired by time spent in Japan, the record channels everything from the experimental edge of Mingus to the bold urbanism of Eduardo Paolozzi – all refracted through a lens of deep soul, improvisation, and groove.
Lead single Americanology is a love letter to the dancefloor – where Northern Soul meets future funk. Blood, out this summer, is its darker sibling: a dispatch from the street – grittier, heavier, and more defiant. The full EP completes the arc with sweeping instrumental storytelling and sharp ensemble interplay.
With a killer live band featuring some of the UK’s most progressive musicians, this one-night-only launch promises deep energy, genre-blurring style, and creative fire.
